During the period leading up to Rememberance day, the Poppy Campaign takes place to honour those who serve, and to help raise funds in support of serving and retired Veterans, and their families. Millions of Canadians wear a Poppy as a symbol of national pride, respect, honour and ultimate sacrifice; a visual pledge to never forget those who gave their lives for our freedom.
Thousands of Legion members volunteer their time to distribute poppies and raise millions that will support Veterans and their families in need. The Legion truly thanks you for your generous donations, and for wearing a Poppy and supporting Canada's Veterans.
The 2016 campaign was a great success due to the combined efforts of Paul Barber, Butch Johnson, Bill and Norma Ross, Pam Mordue and Susan Allen.
